Sadly today I lost Holly - Peter's cat that he loved dearly. He was very fond of all our cats (Magic & Misty; Honey, George & Milly; and then Holly & Miskin). They meant a great deal to him and gave both of us enormous pleasure in their company. I've added a photo of him with Holly to the gallery.

It is now 8 months since Peter left us and sadly, due to Covid 19, many more since I have seen him at Rugby or Stretton Bridge Clubs. I still miss him - his kindness, his humour, his consideration. I admired his passions for aspects of life - the environment, travel, Bridge, music, walking, his cats, turkish delight :-) and not least his dearly loved Anne. What with my Bridge playing & my enjoyment of music there is seldom a day when he does not come to mind - whether it be his outstanding & immeasurably patient Bridge teaching or sharing his knowledge of great music from Emerson Lake & Palmer to Bruch. I never tired of hearing about his & Anne's travels and one day I hope to go to Budapest as he said I must! A genuine caring man, missed by his friends.

Peter did so much for the countryside and for CPRE the countryside charity. We all remember him at CPRE as a kind and supportive person who never wavered from his commitment to the cause and our organisation. He will be much missed by CPRE.
